Nanchang university(NCU) founded in 1921 encompassing the vast area of 284 hectares including three campuses is located in the beautiful city of Jiangxi in China . Seven courses are being offered at undergraduate and graduate level in computer related fields which are as follows:Computer Science and technology, Software engineering, Cyber security,network engineering, data science,digital media,internet of things engineering. Time duration of the computer related courses

The time period for undergraduate programs is around 4 years , this four year tenure includes lectures ,lab work and industrial projects by the end of the degree ,hence-ensuring an all rounder learning experience.

For graduate programs the time period is 2 years where with certain disciplines it can be fluctuated and go up to 3years for thesis and projects completion and for  PHD courses the time duration is 3 years if the thesis or research project is  completed within the duration. Eligibility criteria for international (Pakistani students)

  • The students need to have a strong background in maths and computer science related subjects.
  • The minimum percentage should be around 60 % in FSC
  • Students with Pre-engineering backgrounds are preferred.
  • Students with pre- medical backgrounds are not eligible
  • Age limit for graduate  programs is 18-30

Language of instruction

At NCU all courses are taught in english language for international students. Students are taught an extra course for Chinese language proficiency throughout the year and HSK level 4 test is taken by the end of the degree. This is an initiative for students who have no Chinese background and want to get in touch with the Chinese culture and can adopt better in campus life.

Eligibility and time period

The student applying for MBBS in Nanchang university needs to have at least  60% in pre medical FSC exams and 50% in MDCAT with the age limit of 18-30 years. The MBBS time duration is of total 6 years (5+1) where the last year is of internship. Students with non Chinese background are taught and additional subject of Chinese language and by the end of first year a test is taken of HSK 4. The language of instruction is English but with the patients the student needs a certain level of Chinese proficiency.

Clinical experience

The clinical rotations happen at the affiliated hospitals where students interact with patients. In some cases the students are allowed to  do internships in-their home countries. The student patient interaction is the highlight of MBBS in China.
